Minding the Mind

As we welcome April, we feel the Wheel of Wellness shift beneath us.  This month we will walk through the landscape of the mind by exploring our Mental Wellness.  The mind can be a powerful ally on the journey of life.  The mind can keep us on track with our hopes and dreams or it can place up barriers to them.

This last week, I have been kicking back and observing the way my mind works.  I have learned a lot about small kinks in logic and have also witnessed its connection to both body and spirit.

The Week’s Wellness Art-ivity: Cultivate Curiosity

Curiosity is to Mind what a Workout is to the Body.  This week, invite your mind to become curious.  Especially consider becoming curious about how the mind itself works…your mind that is.  It’s like going on safari and scouting out your own Inner Wild Animal.  Come back here on Friday and look for the Show and Tell for that week (I will try to have it posted a bit earlier this time) and link us to an art project that was created by you with CURIOSITY as it’s subject.  And remember, it can be ANY kind of art …. so it your up for stretching HOW you do your art-ivities, you might take another look at the Creativity Mandala for inspiration.
