Show and Tell:Cultivate Curiosity

The Celebration of Wellness Blog Party is moving from the Spiritual into the Mental on the Wheel of Wellness.  Moving into one’s head can stir up all kinds of delightful scenarios, and perhaps a bit of trouble.  Never know what is lurking around in that playground for the imagination.

We began our month of the touring mental wellness by inviting ourselves to become curious.  I am eager to hear how this went for you!  Also, for those of you who are just finding the Party, you are welcome to join in at anytime and to kick back and relax as you need for self-care reveals itself.  I, myself, am in for the long haul.  So if nothing else, enjoy my journey with me….and of course, with those who join me along the way.

from Monday’s post Wellness Art-ivity: Cultivate Curiosity

Curiosity is to Mind what a Workout is to the Body.  This week, invite your mind to become curious.  Especially consider becoming curious about how the mind itself works…your mind that is.  It’s like going on safari and scouting out your own Inner Wild Animal.  Then, link us to an art project that was created by you with CURIOSITY as it’s subject.  And remember, it can be ANY kind of art …. so if your up for stretching HOW you do your art-ivities, you might take another look at the Creativity Mandala for inspiration.

I love the image you created. It speaks of a beautiful soul trapped in a bottle.
You need to let her out to play. As she is a beautiful, healing spirit.
Yes I am talking about you.
You are a bright light, full of kindness and love.

Thank you for you kind words, E. I appreciate you dedication to creating more wellness in your life. I am glad you like the fairy. Unlike her, my soul is free and enjoying the abundant playground of the Universe. That is the exciting thing about this journey, we don’t have to be broken to want more of a good thing. All is well. 🙂

  2. Good Morning Rae,
Just wanted to share that I think this was probably the hardest one to delve into, and I hope I didn’t stray too far from your promt…. I did address this and to that I say thank you. On little side note, with your encouragment to blog over the months, has truly has helped me in other areas of my life when communicating with family members. I shall steal a VISA quote- that my friend is “priceless”
