Wild Gratitude

Grace from The Wild Pomegranate has revived a section of her blog she calls Wild Woman Wisdom. The section is inspired by the writings of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola-Estes who wrote Women Who Run with the Wolves. It seems Grace and I shared having been profoundly touched by the stories in this book. Much of what I write about today and much of who I am as a woman was shaped by the symbolism and archetypes Dr. Pinkola-Estees introduced in her stories. I was in my early 20’s when I first discovered her. And over the last two decades, her writings and audio lectures have been a powerful medicine in my life.

I was honored earlier this week to have Grace ask to include some of my writing in her collection of Wild Woman Wisdom. I hope you will consider visiting her to discover the gathering of thoughts that she brought together. They are a testament to the endearing strength of feminine wildness. Perhaps you may be inspired as I have. And perhaps you may even find yourself reflected in the words there.

Rae! LOVE the graphic here! 🙂 LOVE it. ((((What do you think about me using it for the WWW page, with full credits and links, of course, instead of that ‘generic’ one??? (NO obligations, sistah! 😉 No is a good answer, too!…LMK!!!)))

Thank you for allowing me the freedom to collect a piece of your wisdom for my site. You’re an amazingly creative and brilliant light here in BlogLand. It was my pleasure and honor to include you!

Grace, thanks for permission to own my No….but I am going to go with YES! lol. You can click the image to follow it to Polyvore. There is a note to the right of the image there that invites you to EMBED it in your post. For this image, I clicked customize and did it at 600 by 600. Let me know if you have any questions. 🙂 What fun it is to collaborate!
