Knee Deep in Art

My studio is jumping with action.

I have spent the last couple of weeks getting ready for a local farmer’s market that is featuring handmade items for the holidays. I have been using the Art Every Day Month challenge to propel me into production mode, and the feeling of creating something everyday is exhilarating!

You've heard of Book Shelves? Well, I have Block Shelves!

Could you use a shot of inspiration? Check out the other artist participating in AEDM 2011. Or better yet, jump in and start making some art. It’s not too late to join.

I enjoy seeing your art and keeping up with your progress in biz. I thought you might be interested in looking at the ‘ostrich eggs’ from the Minoan culture at this site–they look like a kind of art you might want to take a paintbrush to and something that might sell today as well as back then-also click on the Egyptian(or whatever that was)panel above that was reconstructed just because it’s neat art and one person is carrying an odd umbrella of the time.

I love the bookmarks! So incredible! I hope the weekend is going well at the market.
